Cool Vid develop bespoke solutions for our clients based on a wide range of techologies. Our core expertise is focused on control technologies that collect and deliver data for mission-critical applications.
Our Data Collection Centre uses proprietry-free readily-available Open Source software in order to provide greater flexibility. We provide additional modules developed in connexion with Elecuter in order to access our terminal equipment. The equipment requires no special hardware to be fitted to a standard x86 PC, and can thus be connected to any existing machine; the software can be readily installed within minutes.
Our Database Engine can be used to collate and analyze data from numerous sources, and clients are available for Windows and Java. The Database Engine can additionally export data to other analysis tools including OpenOffice.org.
